Hotel Il Guercino

The family room was spacious, very well equipped hotel. We used the bikes and cycled around the town, perfect! The hotel was in a good position for the train station to go to the airport, it was also located approx 15 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. The hotel was small but beautiful, we also used the spa. This was excellent value as we paid 35 euros each for 1 hour. We used the plunge pool, the steam room and sauna. For this price, you get the exclusive use of the spa! Would defo book again!

Very nice hotel with great ’flair’. Excellent breakfast and amazing staff who are all friendly and always helpful. Sound isolation (in Suite) is better than usual in small Italian hotels. Rooms and public areas very tidy.

Close to train station. Bed comfortable. Eclectic first floor/lobby. Front desk staff very helpful.

The hotel is away from the street with entry through a courtyard, which is shared with the surrounding neighbours. Quit charming but Can be noisy. Nice Big room which was very cosy. The neighbourhood itself is rather interesting with lot of local daily life and very few hotels and restaurants. However there is a Nice winebar next door and a very good trattoria, which is a little hard to locate. You have to ring a Bell from the outside

Very cosy hotel, nice breakfast, very kind staff considering my previous experiences in Bologna. In a city were standars are "let's ripp off the tourist at any price" I very much appreciated the service amd attitude of this hotel; a real pearl! Nice room, well appointed, huge bathroom, very comfortable matrass. Staff at breakfast room was served by very charming professional ladies. Personal at reception were extremely kind, too.
